Welcome Address

It is my delight and esteem pleasure to welcome all and sundry to the official e-portal of Federal Government Girls’ College, Tambuwal, and Sokoto state. The College has excelled in many academic endeavours. Thus, I believe that we are offering an educational institution which can rival its contemporary anywhere in the world.

The facilities in the college are unique, distinguished and stand to be compared with the best both within and outside the country. We strive often to reinvest and re-empower our human resource to drive the physical investment that already exists in the college. The institution is second to none in mentoring female students to achieve their dreams. That is why the college is tagged ‘’Centre of Excellence’’.

Federal Government Girls’ College, Tambuwal is one of the fifteen federal unity colleges established in 1999 and also one of the hundred and four unity colleges owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is managed by the Federal Ministry of Education (FME).
